Il Laghetto Earns Reputation As Fine Dining Jewel On Lake Mahopac

The location is as close to the water as you can get, as the restaurant's elegant dining room looks directly out onto Lake Mahopac. When the weather is warm, there are tables outside on the dock, and the outdoor terrace.

Owners Victor Kapiti and Tony Veshta, - along with award-winning Manhattan chef Tony Kolaj - make it their job to see that the dining experience is a memorable one, matching the impressive location.

"We serve authentic Northern Italian cuisine," Kapiti told Daily Voice. "And we specialize in seafood -- all fresh from NYC every day. Nothing here is pre-made, everything is fresh. We make our own pastas, and our chef has over 40 years of experience."

Il Laghetto, known as the Terrace Club until late 2014, is located at 825 South Lake Blvd in Mahopac.
